As a young actor from Sacramento, California Tyree Brown was signed at age 3 by San Francisco talent agency JE Talent. It was only two weeks later that he booked his first job in the industry. Tyree has always loved “working” on set even at a young age where his determination and work ethic were clear with milestones such as learning how to ride a bike, learning to swim, and even jump off a diving board achieved by the time he was only four years old.

Tyree’s big break into acting came at age five when he booked the role of Jabbar Trussell on the new NBC drama Parenthood, which was actually his very first theatrical audition! The role was slated to be a guest start role as the son of Dax Shepard’s character, however he was soon bumped up to a series regular with more lines and storyline. Tyree remained on the series until it’s unfortunate end in season six, but not before working under the guidance of such talented and inspiring actors such as Craig T. Nelson, Bonnie Bedlia, Lauren Graham, Ray Romano and more.

Outside of the series Tyree’s resume includes episodes of Mr. Box Office, NCIS and Criminal Minds along with films such as Operation Neighborhood Watch and Camp Cool Kids. He also voiced Young Kristoff in the hit Disney animated film Frozen.

Tyree is represented by CESD in Los Angeles and JE Talent in San Francisco.
